Christmas Novena

Christmas Novenas Holy Mass Cards are now available (in English and in Slovak).

If you would like to include yourself and/or a loved one in the Christmas Novena that begins the day after Christmas, December 26, you may either pick up Novena Cards in the Parish Office or have the Novena cards mailed to you so you may fill them out and send them to your family and friends.


The quote on the back of the picture is the Christmas Proclamation that is recited at the beginning of Midnight Mass each year:

“Jesus Christ, Eternal God and Son of the Eternal Father, desiring to consecrate the world by His most loving presence, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and when nine months had passed since His conception, was born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem of Judah, and was made man: The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to the flesh.”

Novenas are available in the Parish Office on Mondays and Wednesdays from *10:00AM – 2:00PM, Tuesdays and Fridays from *11:00AM – 2:00PM and Thursdays from *11:00AM – 5:00PM. (*The Parish Office is closed during 12:00PM Holy Mass.)

  • Email:
  • In the subject line, write: CHRISTMAS NOVENA
  • Include how many Novena Cards you would like mailed to you and include your street address, city, state and zip code. Please also include your telephone number in case we need to contact you.
  • Make donation for cards by either:
    • using PushPay on our parish website
    • making check payable to “Ss. Cyril & Methodius Parish”. In memo line, write: “CHRISTMAS NOVENA” and mail it to:
