For one of our Lenten Service Projects, the Knights of Columbus, St. Nicholas Council 7011, passed out baby bottles to be filled with loose change to help support Mary’s Mantle, a local Catholic residence for homeless pregnant women. Gather up the loose change around your house or set aside savings from your Lenten sacrifices and join it with the coins your fellow parishioners collect. Together, we can greatly support this important effort to help mothers and babies.
Members of the Knights of Columbus, St. Nicholas Council 7011, distributed empty baby bottles after the weekend Holy Masses on February 17 & 18. If you have a bottle, please fill your baby bottle with coins and dollars and return it on Palm Sunday weekend, March 23 & 24. If you want to include a check in the bottle, please make your check payable to: St. Nicholas Council 7011.
If you did not receive an empty baby bottles, bottles are available in the vestibule and the Parish Office. However, you do not need a bottle to donate. You may drop off your monetary donations for Mary’s Mantle on Palm Sunday weekend, March 23 & 24.
Together, our individual bottles of change will offer real assistance to this important pro-life ministry.
