“Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity”
Holy Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm for thirty two of our Catechism Students who have been busy preparing to receive Holy Communion for the first time.
The children have learned that the Church calls the Eucharist the “source and summit” of the Christian life, which means that everything about our life is meant to revolve around it. The Eucharist is Jesus Christ himself!
For as often as we eat this bread and drink the cup, we proclaim the death of the Lord. If we proclaim the Lord’s death, we proclaim the forgiveness of sins. If, as often as his blood is poured for the forgiveness of sins, I should always receive it, so that it may always forgive my sins. Because I always sin, I should always have a remedy.
St. Ambrose
Please pray for the Communicants, that they aspire to become saints who live with Jesus forever in Heaven.
