Essential Hygiene Items Collection for Wayne County Outreach Ministry
Wayne County Outreach Ministry (WCOM), an interfaith ministry that helps individuals leaving the local jails make a successful re-entry into the community, is in desperate need of essential hygiene items for men. To help WCOM bring hope and dignity to those they serve, on July 17th and 18th the parish will be collecting the following items: men’s underwear and undershirts sizes XL-XXXL, socks, razors, shaving cream, deodorant and bar soap. Please bring your donation to Holy Mass with you that weekend and place it on the cart located in the gathering space. Your donation of these most fundamental necessities will be greatly appreciated by men who are trying to make a fresh start in life and by those who serve them.
WCOM cares for the spiritual, educational, medical and dental, and other basic needs of individuals being released from Wayne County jails, restoring their dignity and partnering with them in their struggle to begin again.
