First Holy Communion

Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14

Due to the suspension of Public Mass in the Archdiocese of Detroit, our First Communion Holy Masses originally scheduled to take place in April were postponed.

It is with great excitement that the second graders of our parish will finally receive their First Holy Communion this month, at one of three PRIVATE First Communion Masses:

  • June 13, 2020 at 11:00AM
  • June 27, 2020 at 11:00AM
  • June 27, 2020 at 3:00PM

Please keep the First Communicants in your prayers at they complete the final preparations to receive the Body and Blood of Jesus for the first time on their special day!

“I shall always remember my First Communion Day… How lovely it was, that first embrace of Jesus in my heart — it was truly an embrace of love. I knew that I was loved and said, “I love You, and I give myself to You forever.”

“Story of a Soul” – Words of St. Therese of Lisieux

* Please note that due to safety and ‘Social Distancing’ regulations, all First Holy Communion Masses are ‘PRIVATE’ Holy Masses for First Communicants and their immediate families only.
